Alexandria Day Tour From Cairo

Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel for the Alexandria Day Tour. First, visit Pompay's Pillar. It was built in honor of Emperor Diocletian near the end of the fourth century. It was formerly a majestic building rivaling the Soma and Caesarean, having originated in the Serapis temple. Then you drive to the Catacombs, the largest Roman Cemetery, which has three levels dug into the rock. Lunch at a local restaurant in Alexandria, followed by a visit to the Qaitbay Citadel, which was built on the site of Alexandria's ancient pharaohs (Light House), and finally to the Bibliotheca Alexandria. Finally, you will return to your accommodation in Alexandria.
